Professor Rollock and fellow academic Professor Rhiannon Turner were expert advisers on the two-part documentary ‘The School That Tried to End Racism’ which aired on Channel 4 in Summer 2020. The programme follows a group of 11 and 12 year olds as they explore their racial bias and take part in a series of activities to improve their understanding of race and racism.

The documentary went on to win a series of awards including:

• Winner, Japan Prize 2020 (The Japan Foundation President’s Prize, October 2020)
