Executive Assistant to the Director

NIANRO Consulting is a small research consultancy specialising in policy analysis and social justice. We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and committed Executive Assistant to join our team. You will support our Director across all areas of her busy portfolio as an academic, consultant and author acting as her trusted right-hand person.

Key responsibilities:

  • maintain a weekly schedule through strategic calendar management

  • manage a busy inbox in a timely fashion

  • liaise with clients including high-profile stakeholders

  • manage general enquiries

  • make reservations and confirm appointments

  • plan, book and coordinate domestic and international travel

  • plan and organise events

  • maintain an up-to-date list of priorities

About you:

  • professional in outlook and approach

  • proficient in Google Suite/Workspace, Microsoft Office and related tools

  • exceptional written and verbal skills

  • proactive problem-solver with a 'can do' attitude

  • exceptional organisational skills

  • meticulous attention to detail

  • flexible approach and nature, comfortable working under pressure

  • emotionally mature, personable and trustworthy

The role is part-time and flexible across three days, 95% can be carried out virtually although some in person support is required on occasion.
